The Grand Canyon Chapter, founded in 1983 and based in Scottsdale, Arizona, is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history and supporting education for children. We are a large and diverse Chapter that meets on the first Saturday of each month from September through May.
As one of the most inclusive genealogical societies in the country, the Daughters of the American Revolution consists of 185,000 members in 3,000 chapters across the United States and internationally.  Any women 18 years or older – regardless of race, religion, or ethnic background – who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution is eligible for membership. More than 1 million women have joined the organization since it was founded 130 years ago.
We invite you to join us in celebrating our heritage while serving our local community in a variety of ways. There is something for everyone! Please explore our website to learn more about our Chapter and our members.
